Mother Myrtle R. Lawrence, wife of Bishop Elton Allen Lawrence, founder and Prelate of the Canadian-Michigan Jurisdiction has entered the Church Triumphant.

Mother Lawrence’s memory will be cherished by her husband of 72 years, Bishop Elton Lawrence.

One son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Welton Lawrence, PhD. and Missionary Joyce Lawrence of Detroit, MI.

One daughter and son-in-law, Lady Mae Blake of Los Angeles, CA and the Bishop Charles E. Blake, Presiding Bishop of the Church of God in Christ.

One sister, two brothers, 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

She also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, god-children, extended family members and friends, as well as the East Grand Blvd. Church family, and the members of the Canadian-Michigan Jurisdiction.

Mother Lawrence was laid to rest on Saturday, January 30, 2010.
